In CBS’s new Thursday-night comedy CAROL’S SECOND ACT, retired teacher Carol Kenney, played by sitcom veteran Patricia Heaton, embarks on a medical career, and becomes Dr. Carol Kenney, an unusually mature medical resident. Sabrina Jalees plays Lexie Gilani, one of Carol’s fellow residents. Jalees has a background in standup comedy.
