CBS’ NCIS, Tuesdays at 8 PM, is reported to be the most successful episodic series across the globe. It is a hit just about everywhere on the planet, and has spawned two popular spinoffs, NCIS: LA and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS. The potent blend of comedy, drama and likable characters make it a favorite for individual viewers and families alike. Still, at the end of the NCIS Season 11 finale in May, things looked dire for Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon – also an executive producer on both NCIS and NCIS: NEW ORLEANS – as he was […]Read On »

With four hit series on CBS, all of which have won Emmys, Chuck Lorre is the indisputable king of comedy at the network. Yes, TWO AND A HALF MEN, which Lorre executive-produces and created with Lee Aronsohn, is finishing its twelve-year run with a one-hour special on Thursday, February 19. This still leaves the other shows Lorre executive-produces: THE BIG BANG THEORY, created by Lorre and Bill Prady, now in its eighth season, MIKE & MOLLY, now in its fifth season, and MOM, created by Lorre, now in its second season. HUSBANDS THE SERIES began life in 2011 as eleven two-minute episodes for the Internet, chronicling the early days of the marriage between performer Cheeks (Brad “Cheeks” Bell) and star baseball player Brady (Sean Hemeon). Created by Bell and Jane Espenson and directed by Jeff Greenstein, HUSBANDS promptly became a phenomenon. When a Kickstarter campaign was launched in 2012 to fund a second season, the goal was surpassed so quickly that the production was able to become more elaborate. Now Season 3 and 3.5 are here. CWSeed.com is running HUSBANDS, which is available worldwide. HUSBANDS fans have launched the website husbandstvnow.com […]Read On »

On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be. Taking pictures before heading inside it was quite a turnout of stars from the three networks of their new shows and returning shows of the three networks CBS, The CW and Showtime. I probably missed a few as I went in as soon as the cast from the CW new show THE ORIGINALS, a spin-off from THE VAMPIRE DAIRIES walked […]Read On »
