Showtime’s Sunday-night THE L WORD: GENERATION Q is a ten-years-later follow-up to the network’s long-running lesbian drama THE L WORD. Three of the original cast members are back: Jennifer Beals as now-politician Bette Porter, Katherine Moennig as heartbreaker Shane McCutcheon, and Leisha Hailey as upbeat Alice Pieszecki. They find themselves mentoring, arguing and becoming involved with some younger people, including characters played by Arienne Mandi, Sepideh Moafi, Leo Sheng, Jacqueline Toboni, and Rosanny Zayasw.
