Fox’s first responder drama 9-1-1 is now in its third season on Monday nights. Jennifer Love Hewitt joined the series in its second season as Maddie Kendall, sister of firefighter Evan “Buck” Buckley. Maddie, a former nurse, initially comes to Los Angeles to get away from her abusive husband (played by Hewitt’s real-life spouse, Brian Hallisay), but soon finds a job as an emergency services call center operator. TCM (Turner Classic Movies) kicked off the TCM CLASSIC FILM FESTIVAL 2011 at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater, with an Opening Night Gala and World Premiere of the Newly Restored 1951 film AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, which corresponded with the 60th anniversary of its original release. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is a colorful musical about a painter finding art and romance in the City of Lights. The movie starred the late Gene Kelly, who passed away in 1996, and Leslie Caron, who attended the gala presentation.
