ABC’s SCANDAL, which has its third-season finale Thursday April 17 at 10 PM, is famous for its plot twists. Knowing series creator Shonda Rhimes, the episode will be a cliff-hanger that leaves everyone in some kind of peril. White House Chief of Staff Cyrus Beene, played by Jeff Perry, has already been through plenty this season, what with losing his husband (James Bucatinsky) to murder, losing the trust of President Grant (Tony Goldwyn) and almost losing his mind. At ABC’s party for the Television Critics Association at the Beverly Hilton, a lot of SCANDAL cast and producers are hanging out together at one end of the ballroom, celebrating star Kerry Washington’s Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama nomination and the show’s overall success in general. On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be. Taking pictures before heading inside it was quite a turnout of stars from the three networks of their new shows and returning shows of the three networks CBS, The CW and Showtime.
