Peter Parker is back, but this time Andrew Garfield assumes the role. This film focuses on an untold story of Peter Parker and how he got to be the person he is today. This one is a kind of a no-brainer, but for anyone wondering if the Spider-Man character would ever appear in a future THE AVENGERS team-up movie, don’t hold your breath. First of all, even though Marvel (and now Disney) owns the character, it’s currently licensed to Sony Pictures, which makes it harder to extract him for a movie at another studio. It’s taken some time, but the title of SPIDER-MAN 4 aka the SPIDER-MAN reboot movie is finally here and it is … THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. That’s not surprising, considering the title is also shared with one of the longest running SPIDER-MAN comic book series. Also released is a photo of Garfield in full costume  – hopefully to quell fears that the behind-the-scenes footage of the Spidey-costume will look better when properly lit (it does). THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN opens July 3, 2012 and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. […]Read On »
