Big news (and sad news) for THE OFFICE fans. Yes, Steve Carell is leaving at the end of the season of the NBC series, but he’s leaving much earlier than expected. At today’s Winter TCA session for NBC, Kathy Bates, while promoting her new lawyer show HARRY’S LAW from creator David E. Kelley, revealed that her role as Jo Bennett on THE OFFICE is not over. “Now that we wrapped our shooting of HARRY’S LAW, I will appear in a couple more episodes of THE OFFICE in the spring,” reveals Bates.
