Recently Twentieth Century Fox and Dreamworks Animation celebrated the Holly-WOOF premiere of MR. PEABODY AND SHERMAN at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. It was a premiere filled with dogs, stars, guests and fans! Most of the dogs were famous and have appeared in many movies and television shows. I fell in love with a few! The fans lined all the balconies inside the Dolby Theatre that overlooked where all the press were and they screamed so loud that you had to put your fingers in your ears! Every year THE PALEY CENTER FOR MEDIA holds THE PALEYFEST. This year was their 31st Annual PALEYFEST and was held at the Dolby Theatre (where the Academy Awards are held) in Hollywood. The Dolby is a huge theatre and it was filled by fans from top to bottom…screaming fans! The press was in the main lobby where the stars came to have their pictures shot and talk to the many electronic and print press about their show. Recently Warner Bros. Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Even though the streets were closed from Highland to Orange, it basically was a small premiere with the stars of the film and a few guest…and of course fans. Recently Universal Pictures and Studiocanal held the World Premiere of NON-STOP at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. Fans lined the sidewalks across from the theatre in hopes of getting autographs and screaming when the stars arrive. Of course, this is the same as what happens with every premiere. You can tell when the big stars arrive as the screaming gets louder. Relativity Media presented the US Premiere of 3 DAYS TO KILL on February 12th at the Arclight Theatres in Hollywood.
