TNT’s series MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE returns for the second part of its second season tonight. The well-regarded comedy/drama concerns a trio of lifelong friends – series co-creator Ray Romano’s divorced Joe Tranelli, Andre Braugher’s stressed family man and car dealership owner Owen Thoreaux Jr. and Scott Bakuka’s less than successful actor Terry Elliott – who are wading through the treacherous waters of life’s middle years together. Comic Book Review: ANGEL #44

ANGEL Issue #44 | ©2011 IDW

Writer: David Tischman and Mariah Huehner Penciler: Elena Casagrande Cover Artist: Elena Casagrande Distributor: IDW Well Angel and most of his crew survived AFTER THE FALL, and starting with issue #18 the series was simply re-named ANGEL. The stories were weak and spread out, new useless characters were brought in, then killed off, or worse off they stuck around – and then the whole […]Read On »

Tom Baker in DOCTOR WHO - Season Eighteen - "Meglos" | ©1980 BBC

Viewers that sat down to watch last Saturday’s new episode of DOCTOR WHO, “The Rebel Flesh,” might have been shocked when the final frames revealed a clone Doctor spouting his usual rapid-fire dialogue from behind an Odo-like mass of featureless flesh. On the other hand, since it was a story all about clones (or Gangers), how likely was it that we weren’t going to get a double Doctor? This isn’t the first time we’ve met a twin of the Time Lord. In fact, it’s happened quite a few times over the years, with everything from robot and android doubles in […]Read On »
