Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation held the World Premiere of THE EMOJI MOVIE on July 23rd at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California. It was a huge setup with a carnival setting at the end of the carpet with food, drinks, ice cream and more for the guests and stars of the film to enjoy before the movie started. Recently Tri Star Pictures’ held the World Premiere of SPARKLE at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. SPARKLE was the last movie that Whitney Houston (who was also Executive Producer) did before she passed away and stars and guests came out to honor her. Recently Lionsgate held the World Premiere of THE HUNGER GAMES at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. This premiere had the same setup as THE TWILIGHT SAGA premieres that have been held down at Nokia…BIG is the word to describe it. Fans of the book series by Suzanne Collins were everywhere. DreamWorks Pictures held the World Premiere of REAL STEEL on October 2nd at the Gibson Amphitheatre, Universal Citywalk in Universal City. On the Citywalk stage two of the robots stood for people to take pictures with. REAL STEEL is set in the near future where 2000 lb. robot fighters have replaced humans in the boxing rings. Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment held the World Premiere of DOLPHIN TALE on September 17th at the Village Theatre in Westwood. The blue carpet had a backdrop with large fish tanks. DOLPHIN TALE is a true story about a brave dolphin named Winter, and the compassionate people who banded together to save her life.
