Jess Phoenix is running as a Democrat for Congress in California’s CA-25 district, which covers parts of northern Los Angeles County and Ventura County. Phoenix has three other Democratic opponents, Bryan Caforio, Katie Hill and Mary Gallant. All want to unseat Republican incumbent Steve Knight. There are several differences between Phoenix and the other candidates. For one, Phoenix is an actual climate scientist.
