Nighttime soaps have made a roaring comeback – witness the success of GREY’S ANATOMY, REVENGE and SCANDAL – but this isn’t the first time the genre has been big. The late ‘70s and ‘80s were a heyday for the format, with KNOT’S LANDING starting its CBS run in 1979 and going fourteen seasons into 1993. The Paley Center for Media recently held a special event for WARNER BROS. TELEVISION in an exhibit called TELEVISION: OUT OF THE BOX. The exhibit will be on display for the next three years. It was a great turnout as stars from Warner Bros. Television showed their support for this wonderful event and to honor the shows that they appeared in or are appearing in now.
