Universal Pictures and MRC presented the World Premiere of TED, June 21st at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Fans lined the street and even Spider-man joined them to see Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and Seth MacFarlane. Not to disappoint the fans they went over to sign autographs. Writer/director/producer Armando Iannucci loves political comedy. The Glasgow-born hyphenate is also known for non-political comedy, including several series of ALAN PARTRIDGE shows starring Steve Coogan as an inept talk show host. However, a lot of viewers know Iannucci’s work from THE THICK OF IT, his satire of the British corridors of power, currently airing on BBC America.
