It’s summer. This means it’s time for vacations, heat waves, and National Geographic’s SharkFest. SharkFest celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, with nearly thirty hours of new programming spread over four weeks. First up is CAMO SHARKS, premiering Sunday, July 10, at 10 PM on National Geographic, then debuting on Disney XD on July 16, and Nat Geo Wild on August 1. Rating: PG-13 Stars: Claire Holt, Mandy Moore, Matthew Modine Writers: Johannes Roberts & Ernest Riera Director: Johannes Roberts Distributor: Dimension Films/Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures Release Date: June 16, 2017  The original JAWS is rightly a classic, but since then audiences have learned to be wary of shark movies. Stars: Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, Lorraine Gray, Murray Hamilton Writers: Peter Benchley, Carl Gottlieb based on the novel by Peter Benchley Director: Steven Spielberg Suggested Retail Price: $29.98 For those of us who have lived through the VHS incarnations, the DVD versions and the super special remastered DVD versions of our favorite movies, the excitement level for new format re-releases does feel anti-climactic at times. That said, there are still a few movies that get the kid-at-heart excited especially when it comes to a Blu-ray release. The STAR WARS saga, the INDIANA JONES films and now, well JAWS. […]Read On »
