Warner Bros. Pictures held the Los Angeles premiere of HER on December 12th at The Directors Guild of America. It was a small premiere with the stars and a few guests. Half of the photographers were outside and the rest of us inside, and since it was such a cold night I was happy to be inside the lobby. New Line Cinema, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures presented the Los Angeles Premiere of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG recently at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Fans lines the street and up the center of the Hollywood/Highland Complex where the black carpet ran right up to the stairs leading to the doors of the Dolby Theatre. The fans were more then happy to be able to get up close to get pictures and autographs of the stars. Julianne Moore was recently honored with the 2,507th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Motion Pictures next to the W Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood. Moore who is starring in the remake of the 1976 CARRIE in the role of Margaret White made famous by Piper Laurie, along with Chloe Grace Moretz who stars as Carrie in this version made famous by Sissy Spacek. Paramount Pictures recently held the Los Angeles Premiere of JACKASS PRESENTS: BAD GRANDPA at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Fans were across from where I was and the electronic press, besides lining the streets of Hollywood. Before the stars arrived girls dressed as Candy Stripers in a white and red uniforms carrying candy trays walked the carpet and gave none of us candy! Bringing out this beanbag-throwing thing with a hole in it the Candy Stripers entertained themselves throwing beanbags through the hole. These were set up in various places. The 2013 EyeGore Awards were held at Universal Studios, in Universal City, CA  on September 20 to kick off the park’s annual HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS event. This year’s mazes include such movie-inspired scares as EVIL DEAD and INSIDIOUS, as well as AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD.
