The drama series CALL THE MIDWIFE was a huge success when it premiered earlier this year in the U.K., and now that it’s airing on PBS (Sundays at 8 PM in the Los Angeles market, check local listings), it’s captured devoted U.S. audiences as well. Some actors do one-man shows based on all the characters they’ve played over their career. Australian actor John Noble could probably do a one-man show based simply on all the variations he’s played on his FRINGE character Walter Bishop.
