Papi is a former street hustler and small-time drug dealer who has given up both to become part of the House of Evangelista, headed by “Mother” Blanca (Mj Rodriguez). In its second season (it’s already been renewed for a third), FX’s Networks’ POSE, on Tuesday nights, moves into the ‘90s. We are still in the New York ballroom scene, where gay and trans people, mostly of color, gather in found family groupings and compete at balls.
