One of the main features of National Geographic’s annual month-long SHARKFEST programming this year is SHARK ATTACK 360°. This eight-episode miniseries explores how, why, and where sharks attack, what can be done to deter them, and the surprising reactions of many human survivors. All eight episodes are available on Hulu and Disney+ starting Monday, July 1. The on-air National Geographic episodes premiere over the course of July beginning Tuesday, July 2, and will then run on National Geographic Wild beginning August 1. It’s summer. This means it’s time for vacations, heat waves, and National Geographic’s SharkFest. SharkFest celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, with nearly thirty hours of new programming spread over four weeks. First up is CAMO SHARKS, premiering Sunday, July 10, at 10 PM on National Geographic, then debuting on Disney XD on July 16, and Nat Geo Wild on August 1. SHARKFEST kicks off its ninth edition on Monday, July 5, with its biggest celebration of the marine predators so far. This SHARKFEST last for six weeks, with programming across four cable networks – National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo, and Disney XD – as well as Disney+. National Geographic’s SHARKFEST is the most recent iteration of the company’s one-hundred-and-thirty-five-year history of documenting sharks, first in the pages of the magazine, and more recently in television documentaries. SHARKFEST is spotlighted for five weeks this year over both National Geographic Channel and National Geographic Wild, July 19-August 22. The documentaries about sharks are also available on National Geographic on Demand and on Hulu the day after telecast premiere. National Geographic’s SHARKFEST is taking a mighty bite out of the schedule, extending five weeks, July 19 through August 22, on both National Geographic and National Geographic Wild. The shark-themed documentary films are also available on National Geographic on Demand and on Hulu the day after telecast premiere.
