New Line Cinema held a Los Angeles Special Screening of FINAL DESTINATION 5 on August 10th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Just like all the FINAL DESTINATION movies you realize that no matter where you run, no matter where you hide…you can’t cheat death. Or the big question…can you? Disney•Pixar held the World Premiere of CARS 2 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on June 18th. Hollywood Boulevard was transformed into the World Grand Prix between Highland and Orange. Life-Size remote-controlled cars of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile came down the black carpet, which looked like a racetrack. The backdrop was so cool as, like the movie, cars looked liked they were sitting in the stands. The press section was built on a riser so we looked down onto the carpet.
