The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) held their annual Installation Luncheon on August 13th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. This luncheon is to introduce the new officers and directors and the HFPA presented $1.6 million dollars in financial grants to film schools and non-profits and scholarship programs due to the success of the Golden Globes in January of this year. Theo Kingma, the new President of the HFPA welcomed the guests and announced the 2013 grant recipients. Eva Longoria was the emcee for this year’s luncheon. Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment held the World Premiere of JOYFUL NOISE, a Farrell Paura Productions/O.N.C. Entertainment Production on January 9th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. JOYFUL NOISE, which stars Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah Keke Palmer and Jeremy Jordan is a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal. This musical driven story brings together the sounds of gospel, pop, country, rock and R&B.
