Hugh Jackman was honored on December 13th with 2,487th Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Category of Motion Pictures. Hugh Jackman was thrilled by the ceremony and after being introduced by Leron Gubler (Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, President/CEO) who spoke about Jackman’s film and stage career, Gubler then introduced Jay Leno who was the guest speaker for the day. Hugh Jackman was joined by his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, his children Ava and Oscar. DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of PUSS IN BOOTS on October 23rd at the Regency Theater in Westwood. Closing the street where the theater is located, the “beige” carpet, had backdrops that looked like sets from the film. Costumed PUSS IN BOOTS and Kitty Softpaws walked the carpet, plus before the premiere started Spanish dancers came down the carpet. Fans lined the street to see the stars and guests that attended this early Sunday morning premiere. DreamWorks Animation held the Los Angeles Premiere of KUNG FU PANDA 2 at the Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on May 22nd. They had a huge before party with games and food that the stars and guests attended. Each attendee was giving a black gift bag filled with stuff, although I’m not sure what was in the bag! Fans lined the open area opposite from the press to get autographs and take pictures, and waited until Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt arrived; which since Jolie and Pitt love their fans, they signed many autographs.
