The carpet ran down Hollywood Boulevard to the entrance of the Hollywood/Highland Complex and up to the entrance of the Dolby, which was lined with fans, as a matter of fact fans were everywhere on the street and the lucky ones got to be right on the carpet to see the stars up close.
