The title of Crackle’s new series THE OATH, which is now streaming all ten first-season episodes, refers to the vow made by police officers when they join the force. The series, created by Joe Halpin, deals with a surprisingly and alarmingly widespread phenomenon: gangs within police departments. Open Road Films held the World Premiere for THE HOST on March 19th at the ArcLight Hollywood Cinerama Dome. Fans were across from where I shot, and on risers and over by the door of the theatre. Subway gave sandwiches out to all the media, fans, stars and everyone else that walked the carpet. T-shirts were handed out to the fans as they waited patiently to get a picture with their favorites and an autograph.
