On BBC America’s COPPER, which has its first-season finale tonight at 10 PM, Tom Weston-Jones plays the title character, Kevin Corcoran. Corcoran is a police detective who patrols the extremely mean streets of the Five Points neighborhood in 1864 New York. He gets a lot of help from two fellow Union Civil War veterans. In BBC America’s COPPER, Sunday nights at 10 PM, it’s 1864. Irish-American Civil War veteran Kevin “Corky” Corcoran (Tom Weston Jones) is a police detective investigating crime in the dangerous Five Points neighborhood in New York. Although Corcoran relies on two of his fellow Union Army vets for help, his partner in policing is fellow Irish immigrant Francis Maguire, played by Kevin Ryan.
