PHANTASM RAVAGER: Director David Hartman takes on The Tall Man – Exclusive Interview

PHANTASM RAVAGER | ©2016 Well Go USA Entertainment

Where many long-surviving horror franchises are in the process of continually rebooting their characters with little sense of continuity or care, the PHANTASM series has stood out since 1979 for mostly using the same faces in front of and behind the camera. It’s a sense of familiarity, and family that has endeared a legion of “phans” to the series, giving them a personal sense of identification not only for the undead-battling brothers Mike and Jody (A. Michael Baldwin, Bill Thornbury) and their best bud Reggie “The Cream Man” (Reggie Bannister), but also has made us love the gravely humored Tall […]Read On »

POP SHOW PODCAST | © 2016 AssignmentX

Hi again, the POP SHOW PODCAST starring Anthony C. Ferrante is back after a bit of a hiatus which Anthony talks about in the podcast. As usual, Anthony has a bit of trouble staying on topic and we end up delving deep into the realm of fast food joints and the latest incarnations they are doing to attract customers. Ryan Mitchelle also has been off for an extended hiatus and his opening to the podcast shows a bit of rust as he mistakenly refers to Sonia Mansfield as “Sarah” something we won’t let him forget the entire podcast (maybe ever?). BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE EXTENDED CUT

BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE | © 2016 Warner Home Video

Cast: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter Writers: Chris Terrio, David S. Goyer Director: Zack Snyder Publisher: Warner Home Video After spending years in development, what we got in BATMAN V. SUPERMAN left a lot to be desired. It was lambasted by critics for being too dark and too scatterbrain. Some fans also didn’t like it because it continued to portray Superman as a dark, brooding man with difficult morality choices and being extremely different from the comic books. Now, I thought the original cut was actually pretty […]Read On »
