Exclusive Interview: Yes, DEADPOOL will still happen with Ryan Reynolds in the lead

While speaking about the new X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Blu-ray and DVD hitting stores this Friday, September 9, ASSIGNMENT X spoke with producer Lauren Shuler-Donner about the franchise (click here for the full interview) and the status of THE WOLVERINE sequel (click here). We also asked her about the status of the DEADPOOL spin-off film set to star Ryan Reynolds who just came off another superhero film THE GREEN LANTERN this summer. Not only does this summer stand as having the some of the strongest superhero movies in memory row, but also for having two of those pictures feature characters who were likely voted most impossible to pull off for live action. Warner Bros. held the Los Angeles World Premiere of GREEN LANTERN June 15th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Fans were everywhere you looked as Hollywood Boulevard was closed to traffic. Hoping to catch the stars of the movie, which is based upon the characters appearing in the comic book published by DC Comics.  They were not disappointed as Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively and others signed autographs and posed for pictures with them.
