Switch-up night on DANCING WITH THE STARS brought disappointment, excitement and a reemerging leader to the score board. Nyle Dimarco and his switch-up partner Sharna Burgess stole the show with their breathtaking Viennese Waltz, earning them 37 out of 40 points for the night. Guest judge Maks Chmerkovskiy called his Waltz the best dance of the night, while emotion was rampant throughout the studio in awe of Dimarco. Jodie Sweetin made a comeback, with her switch-up partner Val Chmerkovskiy she received 35 points. Ginger Zee & SU partner Mark Ballas came in third with 32 points. No elimination tonight but the tallies will be added to next week’s scores. Antonio Brown and his SU partner Karina Smirnoff earned the lowest scores of the night, just 26 points. Stay tuned!

Smooth. Inaba said she was multidimensional. Goodman told her to sell it. Chmerkovskiy said there was not enough Rumba. Tonioli said she played it beautifully.

Nice swivel. Inaba called him a natural. Chmerkovskiy said he is a performer but that wasn’t a Cha Cha. Goodman said he was short on technique. Tonioli said he got it right at times.

His posture was way off. Inaba said his Tango was not as tight. Goodman said it was hectic. Chmerkovskiy expected better. Tonioli said there was some shaking going on.

Elegant. Inaba loved it. Goodman said it was not a Viennese Waltz. Chmerkovskiy agreed while Tonioli thought it was on the money.

Shaken and stirred. Inaba called her liquid sunshine. Goodman said her Salsa was fantastic. Chmerkovskiy loved it. Tonioli said she was hot.
