Season 20 of DANCING WITH THE STARS kicked off with the regular fan fare and then some. The usual crowd was there including athletes, singers, actresses and reality stars, along with the favorite pros, to help launch a new decade for the popular dance-off show. But no one could have foreseen Demi and Bruce’s girl rip the dance floor apart like she did. Rumer Willis & Val Chmerkovskiy wowed the audience and the judges, landing in first place with a hearty 32 points for the inaugural DWTS: Season 20 night. Right behind them is Ryker Lynch & Allison Holker with 31 points, while gymnast Nastia Liukin & fan fav Derek Hough are in third with a respectable 30 points. Failing to come competitively out of the gate was commercial star Charlotte McKinney & Keo Motsepe and performer RedFoo & Emma Slater. Both ended the night with a disappointing 22 points. No elimination this week: all the couple will be back next week to perform, while one couple will be exiting the ballroom. Stay tuned!
