It was decision time once again on the world’s greatest karaoke competition, AMERICAN IDOL. After last week’s near miss – otherwise known as the producers built in an extra week for the judges’ save but it didn’t get used so they worked an angle that allowed all four girls to stay – this time someone will indeed be leaving.
By now you know it was Amber Holcomb that was eliminated leaving just three left: Candice Glover, Kree Harrison and Angie Miller.
As usual, there was a ton of filler including a performance from Season 7 winner David Cook, a so-so group performance, a weird look at something Constantine Maroulis is doing on Broadway and an even odder performance from Will.i.am.
The elimination of Holcomb wasn’t much of a shock. She had been in the bottom a few times already when the men were still around and so her departure wasn’t hard to see coming. Now it gets interesting. The three singers left have all constantly been praised the most and have been in the top tier most weeks. But with only these three to vote on, who is liked better? Who do you want in the Final 2?
