Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment held the World Premiere of DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX on February 19th at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City.
Dr. Seuss books are loved worldwide and most people are familiar with the many stories. In DR. SEUSS’ THE LORAX, a 12-year old must discover the story of the Lorax, a grumpy, charming creature who fights to protect the world. Why? The Lorax has the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.
Walking the bright orange carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Ed Helms, Betty White, Rob Riggle, Jenny Slate, Chris Renaud (Director), Chris Meledandri (Producer), Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Executive Song Producer), John Powell (Composer), and Writers and Executive Producers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and of course, The Lorax.
Joining them were guests, which included: Morgan Lily, Elsie Fisher, Constance Zimmer, Mackenzie Aladjem, Cat Cora, Jennifer Cora, David Barry Gray, Linda Gray, Lawrence Bender, Dana Gaier, Kool Kojak, Camryn Molnar, Sean Ryan Fox, Brandon Tyler Russell, Lucy DeVito, Rhea Perlman, and Lisa P. Jackson (Administrator of the EPA).
