After tonight there were only four contestants left on the world’s greatest karaoke competition, AMERICAN IDOL.
But who got the boot? By now, you know that Skylar Laine was kicked off the show with Hollie Cavanaugh also in the bottom.
I’ll get to how the results were broken down and as usual I will spare you all the fluff including two performances from Coldplay (which is actually pretty cool), a performance from former IDOL winner Carrie Underwood, way too much drama and yet another bad Ford commercial.
First called up was Joshua Ledet, who got glowing reviews from everyone. He is safe.
Next up was Phillip Phillips and Hollie Cavanaugh. Hollie is in the bottom, Phillip is safe.
Finally, Jessica Sanchez and Skylar Laine are brought on stage. Jessica is safe and Skylar is in the bottom.
So it is between Skylar Laine and Hollie Cavanaugh to go home. Once again, Hollie remains in the competition as Skylar is sent home.
So the Top-4 are revealed as Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez and Hollie Cavanaugh. Joshua and Jessica definitely have the best voices for sure. Phillip is a great performer but a bit monotonous. Hollie? Should have been sent home packing a while ago even if she has improved greatly. I’d put Colton Dixon up there. We’ll see what happens next week.
