Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment held the World Premiere of the live action/CG-animated comedy HOP at Universal Studios Hollywood on March 27th. HOP is from the creators of DESPICABLE ME.

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred O’Hare (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny’s teenage son E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand). E.B. headed to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band and now Fred must take him in as he recovers. As Fred struggles with the world’s worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.

Walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included:  James Marsden, Russell Brand, Kaley Cuoco (Sam O’Hare), Hank Azaria (Voice – Carlos and Phil), Gary Cole (Henry O’Hare), Elizabeth Perkins (Bonnie O’Hare), Hugh Laurie (Voice – E.B.’s Dad), David Hasselhoff (himself), Tiffany Espensen (Alex O’Hare), Django Marsh (Voice – Young E.B.), Carlease Burke (Receptionist), Tim Hill (Director), Chris Meledandri (Producer), Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul (Writers), Christopher Lennertz (Composer), costumed characters E.B., Carlos, the Rabbits and from the soundtrack Cody Simpson.

Joining them were guests, which included:  Bailee Madison, Maria-Canals-Barrera, David Barrera, Zachary Gordon, Tucker Albrizzi, Bryce Cass, Lisa Linde, Elsie Fisher, Brandon Tyler Russell, Donna D’Errico, Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (Creator Phineas and Ferb), Peyton List, Spencer List, Greg Ellis, Lea Thompson, Zoey Deutch, Fivel Stewart, and Johnny Galecki.
