Marvel Entertainment and Paramount Pictures presented A Marvel Studios Production A Kenneth Branagh Film premiere of THOR at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on May 2nd.
The epic adventure THOR spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the mystical realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful, but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is banished to Earth where he is forced to live among humans. When the most dangerous villain of his world sends its darkest forces to invade earth, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero.
Walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Jaimie Alexander, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Josh Dallas, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Clark Gregg, Colm Feore, Joseph Gatt, Zack Stentz (screenplay), J. Michael Straczynski (story), Kenneth Branagh (Director) and Stan Lee (comic book).
Joining them were guests, which included: Michelle Haugh, Kylie Furneaux, Michael Nardelli, Anton Yelchin, Doug Jones, Daryl Sabara, Jesse Williams, BooBoo Stewart, Fivel Stewart, Matt Dallas, Jennifer Grey, Miles Teller, Gillian Jacobs, Alison Haislip, Elsa Pataky, MC Hammer, Steven R. McQueen, Robert Iger, Liam Hemsworth, Peter Facinelli, and Neal McDonough.
THOR will be released in theaters tomorrow.
