Exclusive Interview: KIRSTIE star Rhea Perlman dishes on the sitcom

TV Land’s first-year comedy series KIRSTIE, Wednesdays at 10:30 PM, stars Kirstie Alley as Broadway diva Maddie Banks, whose world is turned upside-down when her twenty-six-year-old biological son Arlo (Eric Petersen) reenters her life. The series, created by Marco Pennette, also stars SEINFELD alumnus Michael Richards and Rhea Perlman, who was Alley’s CHEERS colleague. Perlman played CHEERS barmaid Carla for 271 episodes, 1982-1993, while Alley joined the cast as bar owner Rebecca Howe for 149 episodes in 1987.
