In THE CRAZY ONES, premiering on CBS Thursday, September 26 at 9 PM, Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar play father/daughter owners of a major advertising agency. Simon Roberts (Williams) comes up with off-the-wall last-minute ideas, such as in the pilot, when he decides that Kelly Clarkson will make a great singing pitch-woman for McDonald’s, even when Clarkson (playing herself) insists on making the song considerably more sultry than necessary to sell Big Macs. On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be. Warner Bros. Pictures presented the Los Angeles Premiere of UNKNOWN, in association with Dark Castle Entertainment, A Panda Production on February 16, at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood. Since it was cold and raining most of the day the press and the stars attending were tented. Fans stood on the street to get a glimpse of the stars who stopped to sign autographs.
