In fact, the movie, written by Dan Schaffer and directed by John Suits, has plots that crisscross so much that they tend to cancel one another out, even though it looks as though the effect is meant to be cumulative. The primary and most intriguing notion here is that Suki (Katie Cassidy), already […]Read On »

Greenberg Director:  Bethany Rooney Network: The CW, airs Wednesday Nights Original Telecast: November 20, 2013 If you are a fan of hard-hitting courtroom drama, you probably got very little satisfaction out of the latest ARROW episode, “State vs. Queen.”  If you’re a fan of all things DC Comics, however, this episode was probably a revelation.  After all, we’re now seeing ARROW take a turn […]Read On »

TV Review: ARROW – Season 2 – “Keep Your Enemies Closer”

Michael Rowe in ARROW - Season 2 - "Keep Your Enemies Closer" | ©2013 The CW/Diyah Pera

TV Review: ARROW – Season 2 – “League of Assassins”

Caity Lotz and Navid Negahban in ARROW - Season 2 - "League of Assassins" | © 2013 The CW/Michael Courtney

Paul Blackthorne in ARROW - Season 2 | ©2013 The CW/Mathieu Young

On ARROW, now in its second season Wednesday nights at 8 PM on the CW, Stephen Amell stars as the character first seen in D.C. Comics as the Green Arrow. To the world, Oliver Queen is the wealthy heir to the family fortune, returned to claim his birthright after spending years supposedly lost at sea (actually, going through hard times and a warrior’s education on an island). To those in the know, Oliver is really a vigilante, cleaning up big-time corruption and peculiar evildoers. Oliver is still in love with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), whose father is law officer Quentin […]Read On »
