Regency Enterprises celebrated the Los Angeles Premiere of IN TIME, October 20th at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood. The concept makes me think of the 1976 film LOGAN’S RUN, which starred Michael York and Jenny Agutter where life ended at 30 in the Carousel. Disney•Pixar held the World Premiere of CARS 2 at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on June 18th. Hollywood Boulevard was transformed into the World Grand Prix between Highland and Orange. Life-Size remote-controlled cars of Lightning McQueen, Mater and Finn McMissile came down the black carpet, which looked like a racetrack. The backdrop was so cool as, like the movie, cars looked liked they were sitting in the stands. The press section was built on a riser so we looked down onto the carpet. Disney held the World Premiere of PROM at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on April 21st.  Most of the stars and the guests wore prom dresses and tuxedos as they walked the red carpet. The women were given on check-in wrist corsages and the men a label corsage. Disney had requested that the guests bring a gently worn prom or special occasion dress to donate to LA’s Prom Closet, which is a 100% volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young women in high school attend their senior prom by providing students new and used gowns for FREE. Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Cruel and Unusual Production, and a Zack Snyder film held the Los Angeles World Premiere of SUCKER PUNCH on March 23rd at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Once again it was a rainy night and the press were inside a tent. The black carpet, which had SUCKER PUNCH imprinted on it, was decorated by posters that featured all the stars’ characters and at the end of the carpet was a statue.
