FX Network’s THE PEOPLE V. O.J. SIMPSON: AMERICAN CRIME STORY, Tuesdays at 10 PM, is a ten-episode drama about the famous ’90s court case that had racism, sexism, celebrity and courtroom game-playing on full public view. One of the more memorable participants in those events was the late defense attorney Johnnie Cochran, who epitomized the combination of canny strategy and showmanship. With FOX bringing back the X-FILES for six episodes it is only fitting that David Duchovny got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 25th in front of the FOX Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. David’s star is the 2,572nd and is in the category of Television. Chris Carter (Creator of X-FILES) and Garry Shandling spoke to the crowd of fans and press about David and his career. The Emcee for the star was Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, President/CEO. Other stars that attended the star was Claire Holt, Evan Handler, and Pamela Adlon. On July 29th a big party was held by CBS/The CW/Showtime for the Television Critics Annual Summer Press Tour at The Event, which is actually the upper parking lot where the department store Robinson’s/May in Beverly Hills used to be.
