Last week, I tried to get happy, but it didn’t stick. This week I’m back to my snarky self. I blame it on the fact that there wasn’t a new episode of GLEE this week, and the only female chef was eliminated on TOP CHEF, making it yet another all-male finale. Every season that show serves up tasty sexism and I eat it right up … So anyway, let’s get started: * According to TMZ, AMERICAN IDOL finalists have moved out of the IDOL mansion due to paranormal activity. I hear the place is haunted by the ghost of Taylor …Read On »

Profile: Five Questions with THE GOONIES co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Jeff Cohen

COHEN: I think if you look at all of Dick Donner’s movies, it’s verisimilitude, which is “the truth.” That’s his thing. It’s written on the wall in his office. Feldman has fond memories of the experience and we got him to Take …Read On »

With so many hours of excellent television (THE TWILIGHT ZONE) and classic films under his belt (SUPERMAN, THE OMEN, the LETHAL WEAPON franchise), the problem with speaking to director Richard Donner is figuring out where to actually start. Luckily, that part was taken care of for us since he recently did some press in honor of the 25th Anniversary of his classic adventure/kids film THE GOONIES which just hit Blu-ray in a brand-new deluxe edition. Executive produced by Steven Spielberg and written by Chris Columbus, THE GOONIES is one of those perfect 1980s confections filled with great performances by a …Read On »
