Breaking News: STAR TREK: DISCOVERY adds cast

After a lot of behind-the-scenes back-and-forth (changes in premiere date, changes in show runner), CBS All-Access’ STAR TREK: DISCOVERY has announced its first three regular cast members. Doug Jones, one of filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro’s favorite actors (he’s the Faun and the Pale Man in PAN’S LABYRINTH, Abe Sapien in the HELLBOY movies, an unknown character in Del Toro’s upcoming THE SHAPE OF WATER and more), plays Lt. Before you say it, yes, we already know that MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER was sort of a spinoff from the current ongoing series on ABC AGENT OF SHIELD.
