THE X FACTOR Season 1 Recap: The Stereo Hogzz are turned off during latest elimination

The Top 11 went down to 10 last night on THE X FACTOR which saw the second “group” eliminated from the talent competition. Last week, Intensity went home, and this week two groups landed in the bottom two – The Stereo Hogzz and Lakoda Rayne. This brings up the issue of whether or not audiences HATE groups in these kind of competition or if they’re severely punishing Paula Abdul who is managing the groups. Toronto beefed it’s celebrity profile in 2011 at the 36th Annual Toronto International Film Festival by having a slew of music documentaries. Interestingly they were all about musicians who have heavily dabbled in film in the past. Here’s a quick look… THE ARTIST: U2 THE FILM: FROM THE SKY DOWN GENERAL CONSENSUS: Decent enough look at a band at the crossroads in 1991, one forgets how close they came to imploding. AMERICAN IDOL has perfected the art of procrastination when it comes to dragging out their results shows. It’s something that’s incredibly annoying and finely tuned week in and week out. So it was time for Stefano Langone to go home this week on Season 10 of the world’s greatest karaoke competition, AMERICAN IDOL. Whenever Seacrest talks about a shocking results show, it usually happens on the world’s greatest karaoke competition, AMERICAN IDOL. Who would be shocking? Jacob Lusk or James Durbin going home, and, yes Pia Toscano going home was indeed shocking. She was by far the best chick in the competition. Not just in looks but in talent. WonderCon 2011: SCRE4M composer Marco Beltrami on returning to the franchise
