Breaking News (and a new Spidey Photo): And the new title of the SPIDER-MAN reboot is … THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN

It’s taken some time, but the title of SPIDER-MAN 4 aka the SPIDER-MAN reboot movie is finally here and it is … THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. That’s not surprising, considering the title is also shared with one of the longest running SPIDER-MAN comic book series. Also released is a photo of Garfield in full costume  – hopefully to quell fears that the behind-the-scenes footage of the Spidey-costume will look better when properly lit (it does). Breaking News: Henry Cavill is the new Superman in Zack Snyder’s MAN OF STEEL

Looks like Brandon Routh will be shedding some Kryptonian tears – the actor is no longer the Man of Steel in the new SUPERMAN movie currently dubbed SUPERMAN: MAN OF STEEL. The new Zack Snyder directed reboot (which will be produced by THE DARK KNIGHT’s Christopher Nolan) has picked a new Clark Kent/Superman and his name is Henry Cavill (best known for Showtime’s THE TUDORS). COMMUNITY star Donald Glover weighs in on new SPIDER-MAN 4 photo

While everyone else was talking TV at NBC’s Winter TCA press tour in Pasadena, CA, geekdom was weighing in on the first photo released from the new untitled SPIDER-MAN 4 movie starring Andrew Garfield. Naturally, the cast of the geek-centric NBC comedy COMMUNITY chimed in on the photo during the session. Donald Glover who plays Troy Barnes on the show admits he saw the photo. “The coolest part about it is he has a backpack,” says Glover. “I think that’s what makes the picture. TCA 2011: Fox talks more about LOCKE & KEY adaptation

While speaking at today’s Fox Winter TCA tour in Pasadena, CA, Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly revealed some new information about their new horror series LOCKE & KEY based on the graphic novel by Joe Hill. “It’s really cool,” he reveals. “[Robert] Kurtzman and [Roberto] Orci had this property in their back pocket that Joe Hill created.
