ASSIGNMENT X co-founder and Editor in Chief Anthony C. Ferrante made his feature writing and directing debut with the suspense driven ghost story BOO starring Dee Wallace-Stone. It was nominated for a Saturn Award by The Academy of Science-Fiction, Fantasy and Horror and was also an official selection at Screamfest L.A.

He followed BOO by helming HEADLESS HORSEMAN (which he co-scripted) which presented a revisionist take on the classic Washington Irving story.

Recently, Ferrante co-penned the ghost story HOUSE OF BONES starring Charisma Carpenter for the Syfy Channel and SCREAM OF THE BANSHEE starring Lauren Holly and Lance Henriksen for After Dark Films. He also directed and produced several viral shorts for the hit TNT heist TV series LEVERAGE.

On the journalism side, Ferrante has contributed stories to such publications as Fangoria, Moving Pictures and Script Magazine and also served as Editor in Chief on popular genre publication Cinescape. He was also co-founder of the late great pop culture webzine iF Magazine.

Currently, Ferrante is attached to direct the thriller THE KEY, which he wrote with Jacob Hair and the gothic CANDYAPPLEBLACK which is an adaptation of the seven-issue cult graphic novel co-penned with Regent St. Claire.
