Yee-Haw! We didn’t see any line dancing but yes it was  Country Night on DANCING WITH THE STARS and the couples came out and giddy-upped their routines in the finest shape this here side of Texas. In fact, two duos – Apolo Anton Ohno & Karina Smirnoff and Sabrina Bryan & Louis Van Amstel earned perfect 30s tonight which were added onto their scores of last week, landing them in first place with 88 for Bryan and Amstel and second place for Ohno & Smirnoff with 86.5

Choosing instead of a typical Halloween show the producers boot kicked the competition with some country and western and it seemed to work well for most couples. Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani narrowly earned a perfect score earning a 29.5 this week landing them in third place with 86. While, Shawn Johnson & Derek Hough ended the night in fourth place with an 84.5 after receiving a 28 tonight – there’s just no pleasing Len Goodman for poor Johnson. Gilles Marini & Peta Murgatroyd finished with an 84 after adding a 27 to their score and Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke gained 26.5 more points giving them a grand total of 82.5 points. Kirstie Alley & Maks Chmerkovskiy received their highest score yet with a 27.5 giving them 80 points, until that is the country music group dance where all the couples danced, did solos and then the judges lasso’ed two more points to one lucky couple. Alley and Chmerkovskiy earned those two points giving them a total of 82 points. Lastly Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy ended the night with 78.5 after receiving a 27 this week.
