There was a lot of fun, light, banter in this episode. And yes, it was a building block for other episodes in Season 10 that include not only Clark and Lois, but Carter, Cat, Ollie, and Chloe. Lois didn't figure out that Carter was babysitting her, Carter set her straight there after he couldn't take all her babbling. No, it wasn't a "slam bang" epsidoe - no fist fights and only one explosion, but this was an enjoyable AND funny episode. It was entertaining - and that's what Smallville does best - it entertains.
