I think the idea of faith is what this season is about because there needs to be a sense of something bigger than they are that gives hope. Superman believes in humankind as a strength that gives him hope. It’s his time he spend growing up pretending to be a human that gives him his strength. I have to admit that I have been busy for the last 9 months enough that I wasn’t able to keep up with some of my favorite shows. My absolute favorite being Smallville I figured it was better to wait until I could watch them successively because there are long periods of time I can’t watch. Well I finally started watching them and I can’t stop.

Here is a cool recap video featuring a scene from each episode in order.

A few things, Brainiac is part of the Legion not the League. He shows Clark what happened the night of his father's death and it is about Clark needing to stop taking responsibility for the choices of others not about still wanting to save Pa Kent. The thing with Oliver is about Clark's dwelling on the mistakes of the past and punishing those around him. In the future that he visits, he and Lois are not married yet. They are actually pretending that they don't have a romantic relationship at work which is why after she pulls him in the phone booth and makes him put on glasses she exits the phone booth and tells him "We can't have people thinking things." It is not a reference to him being Superman but instead their romantic relationship. This point is clarified at the end of The Finale prt 2 which takes place approx 1 yr after this part of Homecoming. Finally, Homecoming wasn't just the best of the Season, it was the best of the entire series.
