Big news for PHINEAS AND FERB fans. At today’s Winter TCA press tour in Pasadena, CA, Gary Marsh, President of Entertainment and Chief Creative officer of Disney Channel Worldwide revealed that a PHINEAS AND FERB theatrical feature film is being developed at Walt Disney Studios.

“This is in the early stages, but [Walt Disney Pictures is developing a] theatrical feature,” says Marsh. “It will be live action and animation and will also involve the creators Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and Dan Povenmire.”

This is on the heels of PHINEAS AND FERB being the most successful animated series for Tweens three years running and the first PHINEAS AND FERB TV movie ACROSS THE SECOND DIMENSION IN 2D airing this fall on the Disney Channel.

  4. Yay! I bet this movie will be awesome! Let’s just hope it’s more like “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” than “Yogi Bear”, eh?

  5. I agree

  6. Since it’s Phineas and Ferb, I know it’s gonna be good, but I’m worried about the ‘live action’ part….

  7. I’m incredibly disappointed by the ‘live action’ part. They are going to ruin this show for me by doing that…it’s just…ugh. Bad idea. Anyone see the live action Fairly Oddparents? *eye twitches* Enough said.

  8. bu-bu-bu-bu-but… I’ve always wanted to portray Isabella. :( sigh, this better be good.
