Paramount Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of THE FIGHTER on December 6th at the Grauman’s Theater in Hollywood. As previously reported in the coverage of THE TEMPEST premiere, both were held the same day, and both across the street from each other. Heading over to the THE FIGHTER immediately after THE TEMPEST finished I was lucky not to have missed any of the stars attending THE FIGHTER premiere.

THE FIGHTER is a true story of Dicky Ecklund, portrayed by Christian Bale, who was a former boxing hero that squandered his talents and threw away his shot at greatness. His half brother, Micky Ward, portrayed by Mark Wahlberg, spent his life living in his big brother’s shadow.

Seen walking the carpet were the stars of the film, which included Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Melissa Leo, Jack McGee, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mickey O’Keefe, Micky Ward, Dicky Eklund, Peter Cunningham, Anthony Thomas, Michael Brook (Composer), Paul Tamasy (Producer/Writer), Eric Johnson (Writer), Todd Lieberman (Producer), Ryan Kavanaugh (Producer), and David O. Russell (Director).

Joining them were guests, which included Annabelle Acosta, Kenny Wormald, Tucker Tooley, A.J. Buckley, Erik Estrada, Virginia Madsen, Paulie Malignaggi, Tia Carrere, Mark Hamill, Kelly Carlson, Sumner Redstone (Viacom), Brad Grey (Paramount), Eric Roberts, Shaun Toub, Jeremy Piven, and Connie Britton.

THE FIGHTER opened December 10th in select cities and will open nationwide on December 17th .
